Designed in 1994 and built in 1995 by Rob Hart, this custom home was a labor of love with and for his father.  Situated on a Kiel Cove cliff overlooking San Francisco Bay, there are dramatic views from every room.  Each interior piece of wood was milled on-site to exacting specifications, and then crafted into never-before, never-again assemblages of interior design.  Liberal use of wet-sanded vertical grain douglas fir, intricate details, hand-painted tiles and glass railings give the feel of living high on a cruise ship sailing across the bay.
